Use when an agent has a public URL and needs the page as clean Markdown for an LLM or RAG step, instead of fetching raw HTML ($0.005). Read a public web page as clean Markdown with metadata (title, byline, language, site, published time, word/token estimate, content sha256). GET /v1/read?url=... . Free options: query=<text>&top_k=<1-20, default 5> returns only the most relevant passages (BM25, each with score, chunk index and char offsets) instead of the whole page; links=none removes link/image URLs. Every result has a `savings` token estimate. format=chunks ($0.02) adds RAG chunks + a signed receipt. Not charged on fetch/convert errors.
