Hagglyai Terms of Service
Effective date: 13 October 2026
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hagglyai, including the website at
https://hagglyai.com, its markdown and JSON pages, the public API at /api/v1, the MCP server at /mcp, and
any related tools (together, the "Service").
The Service is operated by Fraser McKenzie, trading as Hagglyai, in the United Kingdom ("Hagglyai", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, whether directly, through a script, or through an AI agent acting for you, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Hagglyai is an independent index of paid APIs for AI agents. It helps agents and the developers who build them choose which paid endpoint to use for a task, and see what it really costs. It compares:
- x402 endpoints: pay-per-call APIs listed in public x402 catalogues;
- Apify actors that can be paid for over x402; and
- MCP servers listed in the official MCP Registry,
on price (per call and per unit), uptime, response time and reported usage.
The Service is free to query. No account, sign-up or API key is needed.
Hagglyai is not a party to any transaction. We do not sell, resell, broker or host any listed API, do not process payments between you and any provider, and do not hold funds. When you or your agent pay a provider, the contract and payment are between you and that provider, on that provider's terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if higher, and able to form a binding contract, to use the Service. The Service is intended for developers and businesses building or operating software, including AI agents. It is not directed at children.
3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
3.1 Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Your own decisions. Rankings, scores, grades, the "Haggly Pick" and recommendations are information to help you decide; they are not advice or a guarantee. Check a provider's live price, terms and suitability before you or your agent pay for anything.
- Your agents. You are responsible for any AI agent, script or automated system that uses the Service on your behalf, including any payments it makes to third-party providers and any budget or spending limits you set for it.
- Your payments. Any payment you or your agent make to a listed provider (for example over x402, or with an Apify prepaid token) is made directly to that provider. Disputes, refunds and service issues are between you and the provider.
- Compliance. Using the Service and any provider you choose in line with applicable laws and the provider's own terms.
- What you send us. Not including personal, confidential or sensitive information in search queries,
find_besttasks, category requests or other text you send to the Service. See the Privacy Policy.
3.2 Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow any agent or person acting for you to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose, or to help anyone else do so.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure or other users, including by sending excessive request volumes, denial-of-service attacks, or traffic designed to degrade performance.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its admin functions, accounts or systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability without our written permission.
- Bypass, disable or work around any security measure, rate limit or access control.
- Manipulate rankings, scores or usage data, including by generating artificial traffic, payments or probe results, or by submitting misleading listings to catalogues we read.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware or other harmful content.
- Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with Hagglyai, or imply that Hagglyai endorses you or any provider when it does not.
- Bulk-copy or republish the Service's data as, or to build, a substantially similar competing index or database, except as allowed in section 5.3.
We may monitor use of the Service for security and abuse prevention, and may apply rate limits or block traffic that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.
4. Information about third-party providers
4.1 Where our data comes from
The Service shows information about third-party APIs, actors and servers ("Listings"), including their names, descriptions, URLs, payment rails, tags, prices and price schemes, payout wallet addresses, availability, how to use them, and site icons (favicons). We collect this from public sources, including the Coinbase x402 Bazaar, the PayAI catalogue, the Apify Store and the MCP Registry, and from our own automated checks.
4.2 How we check
We send unpaid requests to listed endpoints to check that they are available and respond correctly (for x402
endpoints, an unpaid request that should return 402 Payment Required; for MCP servers, the MCP initialize
handshake). We do not pay for or use providers' paid services in these checks. Some figures, such as Apify run
success rates and user counts, are reported by the source and labelled as such.
4.3 No endorsement or guarantee
A Listing's presence, rank, score, grade, "Haggly Pick" status or recommendation is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of that provider, its quality, security, legality, data handling or fitness for any purpose. Hagglyai is not affiliated with any listed provider unless we say so explicitly.
Prices, availability and other details change and may be out of date, incomplete or wrong. Unit prices are calculated from what a Listing states or from its example request (for example "up to 5 URLs in one call") and may not match what a particular call costs you.
4.4 For providers
If you operate a listed API and believe information about it is inaccurate, or you want it removed from the Service, contact us at hello@hagglyai.com. We will review reasonable requests. We may decline to remove accurate, publicly available information, but we will correct factual errors.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Our property
The Service, including its software and code, design, text, graphics, logos (including the Hagglyai name and robot logo), scoring methodology, rankings and the compilation of data, is owned by Hagglyai or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights in section 5.3, these Terms do not grant you any right, title or interest in the Service.
5.2 Third-party material
Provider names, descriptions, logos, favicons and other material in Listings belong to their respective owners. We show them to identify and describe the Listings. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
5.3 Your use of our data
You may use the Service's pages, API, markdown and MCP responses to:
- let your own AI agents and software choose and call paid APIs; and
- reference or quote individual results, with a link to https://hagglyai.com and attribution to Hagglyai.
Any other copying, scraping, redistribution or commercial reuse of the Service's data in bulk requires our prior written permission.
5.4 What you send us
You keep any rights you have in text you send to the Service, such as search queries, find_best tasks and
category requests ("Your Input"). You grant Hagglyai a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use,
store and process Your Input to operate, secure and improve the Service, for example to answer your request and
to learn which categories to add. We do not claim ownership of Your Input.
5.5 Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
6. Availability and changes
The Service is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend, limit or discontinue any part of it, including the API, MCP tools, data fields, categories and rate limits, at any time and without notice. We do not promise any particular uptime, response time, data freshness or continued availability.
If Hagglyai introduces paid tools or plans (for example over x402), separate pricing terms will apply to those features and will be shown before you pay.
7. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION IN IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR TIMELINESS.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:
- prices, scores, uptime, usage figures, unit prices or any other information are accurate, complete or current;
- any listed provider is available, secure, lawful, reliable or will deliver what it advertises;
- following a ranking or recommendation will produce any particular cost or result; or
- the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
Nothing in the Service is financial, legal, investment or professional advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you. Where that is the case, the exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- No indirect losses. Hagglyai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, however caused.
- Third parties. Hagglyai is not liable for the acts, omissions, services, charges, outages, security incidents or data handling of any third-party provider, catalogue, payment network, wallet or facilitator, including any amount you or your agent pay to a provider.
- Cap. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid Hagglyai for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and (b) £100 (or US$100). As the Service is currently free, this is normally the amount in (b).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or, for consumers, any statutory rights you have that cannot be waived.
9. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hagglyai and its officers, employees and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or the actions of any agent or system you operate through the Service. This section does not apply to consumers where such an indemnity is not permitted.
10. Suspension and termination
There are no user accounts, so "termination" means ending your right to use the Service.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend, restrict or end your access to all or part of the Service, including by blocking IP addresses, user agents, agents or API clients, at any time and without notice, if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms, your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or we are required to by law. We may also end the Service entirely under section 6.
- What survives: sections 3.2, 4.3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12, and any other provisions that by their nature should, survive termination.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except that:
- if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country continue to apply to you; and
- we may seek urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at hello@hagglyai.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
12. General
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice on the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Hagglyai about the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a reorganisation or sale of our business.
- No third-party rights. No one other than you and Hagglyai has any right to enforce these Terms, except as stated in section 9.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only.
